Looking for Account Managers for Manulife that will handle US insurance/retirement plans.
Minimum Qualifications
* Must pass Business Unit exams (Math and English)
* College graduate preferably with previous related work experience in the financial services industry
* Call center experience an asset
* Excellent English communication skills
* Strong mathematical and analytical ability
* Demonstrated problem-solver
* Solid organizational and priority management skills particularly in an environment of rapid change
* Attention to detail
Job Functions
* Provide high-quality service in managing a block of clients by responding effectively to their needs
* Resolve or negotiate “win-win” solutions to client issues directly or by consulting with appropriate resources
* Document and track significant client discussions or complaints; maintain current client contract records and follow-up as appropriate
* Build and maintain solid relationships with customer base
* Provide new and ongoing client orientation and education by: setting expectations, discussing a working relationship, advising of new product features and ensuring understanding of proper procedures to follow
* Provide quality client administration by processing all standard financial transactions on assigned caseloads
* Identify trends and patterns of client issues and escalate to appropriate person
* Enroll in internationally recognized certification programs like the 401k Certification offered by the University of Massachusetts and accomplish further training to develop expertise in this area (BU expense)
* Handle special projects in all aspects of the Business Unit like training, operations, quality assurance and business-process improvement (as assigned by management)
