We are looking for a person who has about 4 to 5 years of extensive experience in web development and design particularly using PHP. Must have a strong technical understanding of web development best practice tools and methodologies, keeps abreast of market intelligence and industry trends (e.g. new technology, web standards and social networking).
Essential skills for this role would be:
PHP (principal language)
.Net (secondary language)
Flash/Actionscript 3.0
Database languages such as MySQL
Content Management Systems (CMS)/ Blog frameworks – Opensource (Wordpress/Drupal/Joomla/Modx)
Enterprise CMS understanding
Good English communication skills in both verbal and written
Desirable skills would be:
Technical knowledge of Ruby on Rails/Python/Django
HTML
Oracle
RedDot/Stellent
The role will be responsible for developing websites/microsites as per the clients’ brief and as guided by the Head of Traffic/Production. The role will also maintain key AMS sites and will interpret build plans, site maps, wireframes, develop innovative attraction ideas. The role will also build collaborative relationships with clients’ technical staff and the AMS creative, production and general resourcing communications team.
