ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Joni Gutierrez is the director, scriptwriter, cinematographer, and editor of the short film Hamsit which premiered at the 6th Pinoy Indie Short Film Festival 2010. He is also the Director of Photography of the full-length film, Anacbanua, which won the Lino Brocka Grand Prize at the 11th Cinemanila International Film Festival 2009, and for which he received a nomination for Best Cinematographer at the 33rd Gawad URIAN 2010. Currently, He just finished his new experimental short film, Yungib (The Cave).

He has a master's degree in Media Studies – Film, at the University of the Philippines Film Institute (UPFI), where he now a member of the faculty.

Dates: November 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2010 (every Saturday – total of 20 hours)
Time: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
*on Nov 27 , 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

COURSE FEE: Php 8,000.00
(A discount of 10% per head for every group of 3 and up)
- UPFI will provide the equipment but workshoppers can bring their own
- includes a Certificate of Completion from UP Film Institute
