EVENT: Cinemalaya at the CCP Dream Theatre

"Brownout sa Neighborhood Namin That Day"(Starring Krish Tuason, Archie Adamos, and Geraldine Tan) will be shown in this year's Cinemalaya under the ANI: Best Shorts, Best of UP Film Institute!

EVENT: ARTBIKE

ARTBIKE is a biking event which will cover 17 kilometers of biking to view changing and permanent exhibitions in 6 art venues in the Katipunan Art Strip. It will take place on Saturday, 23 July 2011 from 8AM-2PM. Assembly: 8AM, Vargas Museum, UP Diliman Campus.

WANTED: Writer

The University of the Philippines System Information Office (UP SIO) is in need of a full-time reporter who will write articles for the monthly UP Newsletter and bimonthly Forum, among other tasks.

The hired full-time reporter (to occupy the position of Administrative Officer II) will have a starting monthly salary of P17,099.

Minimum qualifications are a baccalaureate degree and career service eligibility (professional level).

Interested applicants may apply at the Human Resources Development Office (HRDO) located on the mezannine floor of Quezon Hall (South Wing), University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman, Quezon City. Please bring the following:

1. Letter of application (addressed to Prof. Danilo Arao, assistant vice-president for public affairs and director, UP SIO)
2. Transcript of records (should be certified copy)
3. Certificate of eligibility
4. Certificates of training attended within the last five years (if any)
